Therefore, you must be able to demonstrate a strong level of commitment to your training in order to be selected as an Acron Aviation Academy student.
Our PPP is designed to provide the training needed to become a commercial pilot. Whether you choose to enroll full or part-time, our PPP includes expert instruction, flight training and essential knowledge needed to step into the cockpit and launch your career as a commercial pilot.
Scholarships available
The EXCEL Scholarship rewards student performance by covering the cost of advanced training - the CFI-I Add-On.
Awarded to the highest performing students based on Ground School exam results, Checkride performance and Instructor feedback, the Scholarship recognizes effort, discipline, and excellence and is designed to reduce the financial burden of advanced training and fast-track the highest performers toward Certified Flight Instructor roles.

What comes after the PPP?
After completing the PPP program, you will be a qualified Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). It’s now time to build your FAA 1,500 flight hours, which you can do at Acron Aviation Academy after earning your Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII)*. Then it’s time to join the airlines through one of our many Pilot Pathway programs.
Your pathway to becoming a pilot:
- Complete the PPP and earn your Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).
- Prepare your resume and schedule your initial instructor interview with the support of our Career Services team.
- Apply for a scholarship to earn your Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII), which may be required before you begin teaching at the Academy.
- Meet hiring airline partners that regularly visit and recruit our cadets at our Sanford, Florida campus.
- Join a Pilot Pathway and seamlessly transition into your pilot career with one of our regional airline partners, many of whom offer tuition reimbursement, sign-on bonus opportunities, or incentives during training like seniority.
*You must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen to work at Acron Aviation Academy.

Breakdown:
- Deposit of $10,000 followed by five further installments
- Includes Ground School costs plus prepware, ACR fees and DPE Flight Tests
- Includes Private Pilot License (if you already have this certificate, you can join the PPP for a reduced rate, request info for more details).

Program includes hours required to exceed the minimum FAA hours required for each rating. Extra hours are built in to assist with gaining proficiency; however, flight training is a skill, and time to train and cost are based on individual progress. Additional hours beyond those included may be required. Please speak with your financial advisor regarding suggested loan terms and amounts for course completion.

- Submit your high school diploma or GED.
- Obtain an FAA medical certificate.
