Pilot training cost and funding
For many aspiring pilots, one of the main considerations is financing. At Acron Aviation Academy we have a range of flight school loans for students to fund pilot training.

We understand the cost of pilot training is a large financial commitment. However, the cost is reflective of the quality of training, the future financial rewards and the many other benefits of being a pilot.
Flight school loans help fund your.
Flight school loans help fund Acron Aviation Academy's professional pilot training programs, such as the Professional Pilot Program, ATP CTP, and Jet Transition Program. At Acron Aviation Academy, we offer a range of financing options to help, including loans from Sallie Mae and Stratus Financial.

With a Smart Option Student Loan from Sallie Mae you could borrow up to 100% of the cost of training, and benefit from flexible repayment options.
Acron Aviation has teamed up with Stratus Financial to offer financing options to help fund pilot training. You could borrow up to 100% of the cost of training!
Our Student Finance and Pilot Careers Advisors will help guide you through the process of exploring financing options. Most students pay for the primary portion of their training through self-pay, private flight school loans, or a combination of both. We have partnered with lenders who can provide up to 100% of the cost of pilot training for eligible, credit-worthy borrowers, and eligible veterans may be able to apply GI Bill benefits toward Part 141 training.

The Professional Pilot Program costs $93,500, all-inclusive: tuition, flight hours, instructor time, FAA test fees, and materials, with no cost creep between phases. Most students don't pay for it all at once.
Between Sallie Mae, Stratus Financial, and options like the EXCEL Scholarship, most students combine two or more funding sources to make the Professional Pilot Program work for their budget. Our Student Finance team can help you build a plan before you commit to anything.
