Sallie Mae’s rates reward creditworthy borrowers and offer flexible repayment plans to students who receive up to a 12 month* period without having to pay back the balance of the loan.

*12 month grace period available to successful Sallie Mae applicants who began their application after July 2nd 2025. Those in the application process prior to this date have up to a six month grace period.
