Aviation was not always something I knew I wanted to pursue, even though it was always around me growing up.

My dad has worked for JetBlue for as long as I can remember, so airplanes and airport stories were simply a normal part of life. Hearing about his experiences on the ramp and the people he met along the way slowly sparked my curiosity about the aviation world.

Everything really changed when I took my first Discovery Fight about two years ago. Being in the cockpit and seeing the world from above was completely different from anything I had experienced before. In that moment, I realized that flying was not just something I found interesting. It was something I wanted to pursue seriously.

After graduating high school, I decided to begin flight training and work toward becoming a pilot. I chose Acron Aviation Academy because I was looking for a high-quality training program with strong resources and instructors who were truly invested in helping their students succeed. The supportive environment and clear training path made it the right place for me to start building my career in aviation.

I am currently finishing the final stage of my commercial training and preparing to begin my CFI training next. Every stage of training has pushed me to grow and become more confident in the cockpit. Flight training can be challenging, but each takeoff and landing reminds me why I chose this path.

Celebrating Women in Aviation is incredibly important to me because representation matters. Pioneers like Amelia Earhart and Bessie Coleman helped pave the way for future generations of female pilots and showed us that determination and passion belong in aviation.

If I could give one piece of advice to young girls interested in aviation, it would be to stay curious and open to new experiences. You never know what moment might inspire the path you choose.
