From student pilot to Envoy First Officer: Wyatt Snelson

My name is Wyatt Snelson, and I began my journey at Acron Aviation Academy as a student pilot and went on to earn my Private Pilot License, Instrument Rating, Commercial License, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), CFI Instrument and Multi-Engine Instrument Rating, all through the program. 

Over the course of my time here, I’ve logged more than 1,500 hours total time, spending two years as a CFI, with a year and a half of that time serving as a Check Airman. During that time, I had the privilege of training and mentoring students across every stage of flight training - from first solos, to Commercial check rides - and watching their growth has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career so far.

I’m grateful for the many friendships, mentorships, and professional relationships built along the way - each one played a part in shaping the pilot and Instructor I’ve become.

I’ll soon be moving on to join Envoy Air as a First Officer, thanks to the cadet program partnership between Acron Aviation Academy and Envoy that helped make this next step possible.
