Carly Schmidt named as 2025 Piper Ambassador

Piper Aircraft have selected Acron Aviation Academy's Carly Schmidt as one of their Brand Ambassadors for 2025.

Here, Carly shares more on her training journey, and the honor of being selected to represent both Piper Aircraft and Acron Aviation.

Hi! My name is Carly Schmidt, and I am a new Piper Brand Ambassador currently working on my Commercial Pilot License here at Acron Aviation Academy. Even before starting my training, I felt a special connection to the Academy because both of my parents attended many years ago. Since then, I’ve made so many great memories of my own.

After deciding to pursue flight training, I knew I had to tour Acron Aviation and see the place my parents had shared so many positive stories about. Stepping out onto the flight line, I was struck not only by the impressive size of the Piper fleet but also by how well the Academy has taken care of both the Archers and Seminoles. From sitting in the Archer for the first time during the tour, to completing my first solo in it, to recently flying my commercial cross country in it, I will forever associate the Archer with some of the best, most rewarding moments in my aviation journey.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to share more of my experiences in Piper aircraft and offer my support to other aspiring pilots. Everyone at the Academy has been incredibly kind, helpful, and encouraging, and I look forward to being that person for others. I hope to inspire others to take that first step toward becoming a pilot and to convey the joy of flying through my social media.
