Acron Aviation and Air Wisconsin have come together to provide cadets with access to resources and guidance to make a seamless transition from flight school to an airline career! The Air Wisconsin pilot training program is a stepping stone for cadets to gather experience as pilots while flying for Air Wisconsin; and a gateway to ultimately fly for American Airlines.

Air Wisconsin to American Airlines
Enrolling in our Edge: Commercial Pilot Certificate program will provide you with the opportunity to apply to become an Air Wisconsin trainee.
During your time in the Air Wisconsin Pilot training program, you will be working part-time for the airline and build your experience.

Enroll at Acron Aviation Academy
The first step in your journey to becoming an airline pilot is to enroll in our Edge: Commercial Pilot Certificate program.

Become an Air Wisconsin trainee
The next step is to apply to the Air Wisconsin Program. You become eligible after earning your Commercial Certificate and Instrument Rating. If accepted, you will have access to travel privileges, 401k with company match, mentorship opportunities, and more!

Build your experience
Those that complete our Edge: Commercial Pilot Certificate program can then enroll on our Elite: CFI / CFII Certificate, where you will earn your Certified Flight Instructor Instrument Rating (CFI-I). These certifications will help you reach your 1,500-hours!

Become an Air Wisconsin airline pilot
After reaching the FAA mandated 1500 hours of flight time, you will be eligible to earn your Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. As an Air Wisconsin new hire First Officer, you will be eligible for up to $73,000 in sign-on and retention bonuses!
