I’m proud to be part of the first-ever batch of Air India cadets to be trained at Acron Aviation Academy, a journey that’s been nothing short of incredible.
Rockets and airplanes have fascinated me since childhood. That early curiosity led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, followed by an enriching stint as a Scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
It was during my time at ISRO, while working closely with Chinook pilots, that a new dream began to take shape. I realized that the same precision and discipline that drive a rocket launch also exist in an aircraft cockpit. That was my moment of clarity - I wanted to be the one at the controls, soaring through the skies!
I decided to switch careers and follow my passion for flying through the Air India Cadet Pilot Program. Every hurdle I encountered became a stepping stone, shaping me into a more responsible pilot and a humbler human being.
Now that my training is complete, I’m looking forward to heading home and taking the next steps on my career journey. As well as indulging in all the Indian food I’ve missed!
To everyone chasing their dream of flying: keep your eyes on the horizon, your heart in the clouds, and your determination unwavering.
The sky truly isn’t the limit - it’s just the beginning.
