Indian Commercial Pilot License

Acron Aviation Academy offers an Indian Commercial Pilot License program for Indian nationals who are pursuing their dream career. This program is open to applicants who are residents / citizens of India who wish to obtain a DGCA license approval.

Indian airlines currently have a need for more than 1,000 pilots annually (source: Indian Times). Here at Acron Aviation Academy, you can complete your Indian Commercial Pilot License training in as little as 8 months.

Below is the training footprint for the Indian Commercial Pilot License:

Commercial Pilot License with Multi-Engine add on - 8-10 months (Orlando, Florida)

• Private Pilot Certificate
• Instrument Rating
• Commercial Multi-Engine Rating
• Single Engine Commercial Add-On

Optional extra - DGCA Ground School and Exams - 3 months

• Comprised of Air Navigation, Meteorology and Air Regulations

Optional extra - Flight License Conversion - 1-2 weeks

• This conversion will show that you can meet and pass the DGCA requirements to fly an Indian registered aircraft with the necessary skills and competence. On completion of the skills test you will be issued with the documents to apply for your DGCA license

Graduate Placement Pool 

On successful completion of training, you will enter the Acron Aviation Academy Graduate Placement Pool where we will continue to develop your skills for application to Indian airlines. We hold regular CV, cover letter and interview training workshops along with developing your skills to sit group exercises and panel interviews. These will be bespoke to the airline you apply for and we dedicate time to prepare you for various selection tools used by the airlines. We can also supply a training reference report.

To apply for this a program, you must meet the following requirements:

Age

• 17 years old at point of application (must be 18 years old to start training)

Education and English language

• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• 10+2 with minimum score of 51% in Physics/Maths/English (applicants without can clear those exams through NIOS or any other recognized board that meets Acron Aviation Academy approval, including international equivalents)

Medical

• Able to obtain and maintain an Indian DGCA & FAA Class 1 medical without restrictions (applicants can apply with a Class 2 medical)

Visas

• Valid passport with the unrestricted right to live and work in India with the ability to travel worldwide
• Able to obtain a US Visa

Background and selection

• Indian National with Aadhar number
